GREENHOUSE ARTIST 2018

Megan Young combines performance structures, new media, and community engagement to identify and disrupt intersecting systems of oppression. Her work has been featured in Hyperallergic, The Atlantic, New City, and NPR; supported by the National Center for Choreography in Akron, CounterPulse, Playhouse Square Center, ArtPrize, and DCASE. Presentation credits include Ammerman Center for Art & Technology, ISEA Hong Kong, Open Engagement, Current Sessions, Links Hall, SpinOff Festival, RADfest, and Cleveland Public Theatre. Young holds a BFA in dance from Ohio University and an MFA in interdisciplinary art & media from Columbia College Chicago.
