CrossHatch Symposium

A one-day event for Chicago dancemakers to hear from peers and to discuss, learn, and share work with one another.

SCHEDULE

10:00-10:30 Registration: Coffee, filtered water, and pastries will be available. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own reusable cups and mugs, if possible.

10:30-12:30 Cross-disciplinary Choreographic Experiments: Movement share warm-up, choreographic prompt and response session led by Ginger Farley. This will be an active, dancing, creating experience. All are welcome.

10:30-12:30 Resource Sharing and Dialogue: Informal discussion with other attendees and staff from American Dance Abroad, High Concept Labs, and Chicago Dancemakers Forum. Learn about Chicago Dancemakers Forum's new travel grants program. 

12:30-1:30 LUNCH SPONSORED BY MANA CONTEMPORARY: Both meat and vegetarian tamales will be served. If you have dietary restrictions, you may prefer to bring a lunch.
