2017 LAB ARTIST  AWARDS CELEBRATION

Together we'll applaud the 2017 Chicago Dancemakers Forum Lab Artists: Brittany Harlin, Daniel “Bravemonk” Haywood, Joshua L. Ishmon, JumaaneTaylor, Rika Lin, andVictoria Bradford, as well as the accomplishments of past awardees and the creative riches of Chicago's dance communities. The Forum's Lab Artist program includes a $15,000 grant combined with a year of mentorship to support the research, development and presentation of a newly choreographed work. 

The evening will begin at 5:30pm and include a dance performance/ presentation by 2016 Lab Artist Onye Ozuzu and a work created in response to the exhibition at the Arts Club by Elise Cowin and 2014 Lab Artist Ginger Krebs. There will be a cocktail reception and an awards presentation followed by a seated dinner.
