Meyer's CDF project, The Waking Room, inquired into the somatic corollaries of psychotic experience as a way of understanding the substructures of the human perceptual process. If achieved, this understanding will serve as a foundational matrix from which choreography may arise. The goal is that movement material be created not from a perceptually integrated aesthetics, but rather from the physiological language of the pre-perceptual process.
